  • Today’s Democrats: Intolerance, Hatred and Cruelty are the Order of the Day

Many Democrats have no intention of mending fences with those of us who did not vote for Hillary Clinton.  It’s obvious when we see their intolerance for people who do not subscribe to Leftist ideology.

It’s running rampant in America. Democrats are teaching their children to hate the President and to shun other children whose parents voted for Donald Trump. Hatred and cruelty are everyday occurrences.

I’ll start with an example of intolerance and hatred being taught to children by Democrats. Please watch this short video from Facebook:

I’m sure I’m not the only person who finds this video disturbing. These Democrat parents are teaching their children to hate President Trump. Note the way the parents scream at the kids to “tear him apart!”

They smile and cheer as their children rip this effigy disguised as a piñata limb from limb. After the Trump figure is ripped apart, the children are rewarded with candy.

So, hatred and acts of simulated violence on a figure representing President Trump are rewarded by these Democrat zealots.

Their children are innocent and are being used as pawns in a dangerous game.

Now I have no idea how many Liberal Democrat parents are teaching their children to hate the President, (and, by default, anyone who voted for him), but I doubt this kind of incident is rare.

My opinion comes from seeing young children at the various pussy marches that were held around the nation. Some of these kids were under 5, holding signs with messages of intolerance.

If anyone believes this irresponsible parenting will end up benefitting the children involved, there’s a big bridge in Brooklyn I could sell you.

This brings me to this past Sunday, where I ran into my dear friend at Mass.

The gospel reading was Matthew 5: 38-48.

38* “You have heard that it was said,x ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’39y But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil. When someone strikes you on [your] right cheek, turn the other one to him as well.40If anyone wants to go to law with you over your tunic, hand him your cloak as well.41Should anyone press you into service for one mile,* go with him for two miles.z42Give to the one who asks of you, and do not turn your back on one who wants to borrow.a

    Love of Enemies.

43b “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’c44But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,45that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.46For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors* do the same?47And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same?*48So be perfect,* just as your heavenly Father is perfect.d

One of the most difficult of Christ’s teachings for most people. The priest’s homily suggested that we ask God to help us in forgiving others, to pray for those who have wronged us, and to ask God to rain His blessings down upon them.

Not an easy thing to do these days. We all have enemies. This is not conjecture.

After Mass I greeted my friend, whom I met at church 8 years ago. We quickly became close during our work in the parish Pro Life ministry, and also community activism in opposing the Common Core curriculum being implemented at local schools. We are buddies, and she is my greatest friend in our parish. I love her.

My friend suffered greatly at the hands of Leftist Democrat community agitators in her children’s school system because she refused to sit down and shut up about faulty texts and crappy Leftist ideological novels being taught as literature.

After the hearing which other concerned parents were not permitted to attend, rumors began circulating that “some woman” was trying to ban books. The rumor was heard at the Bayard Taylor Library in Kennett Square. The rumor was also being spread in one of the New Garden polling places on election day, November 4th. People coming into the polling place to vote were told that someone was trying to “ban” books at Kennett High School. All of this talk of “banning” did the trick.

On the evening of November 10th, my friend Angie went to the school board meeting alone. She had asked me to go with her, and I said no. I had no idea what was going to happen and neither did she. I’m pretty sure Angie’s husband did end up joining her at the meeting before it ended, but I wish I had gone. She could have used a friend.

The room where the school board met that night was filled with adults and students wearing “We Read Banned Books” buttons. There was quite a large group. Angie told me she was sitting quietly and wondering what the hell was going on, since the vote was to decide whether the book should be kept under age restrictions. A group of about 5-6 kids sat nearby, along with a few parents. Angie decided to ask them why they were at the meeting. Following is the paraphrased conversation:

Angie: Why are you all here?

Students: Our teachers asked us to come, because some lady is trying to ban books in our library.

Angie: Oh no…that’s not what’s going on. I’m the person who’s concerned about the book, but I didn’t ask for it to be banned. I’m just concerned about kids. Some kids may be too young to read what’s in the book, so we should make sure they can be talked to by someone like the counselor.”

    Students: What? You’re the lady?

Angie: Yes. It’s me, but I don’t want to ban books.

Students: We didn’t know. We were told by our teachers to come tonight to support the school because someone wanted to ban books. We didn’t know.

    Here’s more:

The board whipped things up a bit more before they went on to other business. Following is a quote from board member Rudy Alphonso:

“I think about the principles that our Founding Fathers laid ground for us (and) all the battles and all the people that have died over our 200-plus years to keep these fundamental freedoms in place and to allow us to have the choice whether or not we want to read something or not read something,” he said in his statement. “Banning this book, to me, would almost be like turning my back on all those hundreds of thousands of American veterans, men and women, who have died to allow us to keep those freedoms and not to have censorship. I see this attempt to ban this book as if we live in Nazi Germany. This is the United States of America. The Statue of Liberty rings for everyone.”

This man and the other board members must have known that the book wasn’t leaving the school, yet he mentioned Nazi Germany. How unbelievably pathetic.

So you see, Angie is not popular with many Democrats in her community. And now, because she is a Republican committee person for her township, and her neighbors know she supported President Trump, one of her children is being shunned by an “adult” neighbor.

    Virgin and Child

After Mass on Sunday we went inside the multi-purpose chapel that was recently built at our parish church. Above is a statue that graces the chapel. I don’t know the title of the statue, but as you can see, the Blessed Virgin Mary and her Son are surrounded by children of many races and ethnicities.

As Angie was relating the incident, we gazed at the statue. Here’s what happened.

The neighborhood itself shows signs of displeasure with Trump. A mailbox is tied with a black ribbon, and there are other signs of dislike.

Anyway, Angie related that her son, age 8, was playing in her yard with a neighbor’s child, and the child’s mother called him to come home, and not to play with his friend because “they” are mean people.

*Note* – I have met the woman in question three times, at various parties at Angie’s house.

Anyway, Angie’s 8 year old was upset at what was said, as any child would be. Then the following occurred.

I don’t know if it was directly after the neighbor boy was told to get out of that yard or if it maybe happened later, at the bus stop or some other time, but the little boy approached Angie and said (paraphrase): I want to play here. I don’t think you are mean. But my mom says you are mean people and I can’t play with ___. (Angie’s son).

Again, she told me this directly after we had listened to a priest speak of forgiving and praying for those who hurt us, while looking at a statue of Christ surrounded by children of differing ethnicities.

It really was a strange feeling.

    Sigh…

I would like to know how the Democrat mom in question is any different than a white woman before Civil Rights who taught her children never to speak or play with a black child.

Or how she is different from a German mother in 1932 teaching her children not to ever associate or play with a Jewish child.

If anyone can explain the difference, please do so in the comments.

I myself see no difference.  I have known this little boy for many years. He is a wonderful child with a big heart, yet he is shunned by a woman who used to eat in his home.

This woman is a Democrat, and seemingly sees no irony in what she did. Democrats pride themselves on being tolerant and loving, yet she was cruel, intolerant and hateful to an 8-year- old boy.

Again, for any Democrat who might be reading, please help me to understand why this, or the hatred in the above video, is acceptable in America today. I’ll wait.

My opinion is that these children will grow up to be sad, guilt-ridden individuals, or perhaps hateful bullying thugs like the ones we see beating people and pepper spraying them for wearing a Trump hat.

And now for my own reflections on the unfortunate fact that the Democrats are practicing intolerance and hatred.

White Clay Creek, Chester County, PA

Above is a branch of White Clay Creek near my home in Chester County, Pennsylvania. I run here in White Clay Creek Preserve.

On Sunday afternoon I went running and snapped the above photo. Though not visible in the picture, the park was full of people. It was a beautiful day, and I saw many families walking together with their dogs, and also other runners and some trail bikers.

As I was running I smiled and said hello to everyone who made eye contact, all the while wondering if they would hate me if they knew I voted for Trump.

I have had similar experiences over the years while running, but they usually occurred when the park was almost deserted.

I once got a strange feeling about a man who was walking his dog in the dead of winter while I was running in the bitter cold. I don’t know why, but the man seemed off. I got the feeling he might be out looking to hurt someone.

He was there on and off whenever I went to a certain trail. Sometimes I saw him in the parking lot and took off down the road so he wouldn’t know which path I planned to take. Other times he was on the road but very close to the trail. He was always wearing a parka with a hood, and walking a little dog.

When I saw him I was put in mind of the movie The Silence of Lambs. I have no idea why, but I always ran away as fast as I could.

And then one day I came around a bend in the trail far away from the road. I was all alone in the bitter cold, running in an isolated place. This was 8 years ago.

As I ran I wondered what to do. I prayed. I didn’t stop or turn around, for whatever reason.  I kept running right toward him, praying.

And then out of nowhere came a tall, fit man, running directly toward me. He passed me as I was passing the guy with the dog.

He came along out of the blue. I had never seen him before, and I never saw him again. And that was the last time I ever saw the man with the dog.

Now you may say I’m imagining things, or I was paranoid, or any number of 21st Century notions. But I believe an Angel passed by at the very moment I need God’s help.

After that, I began to carry pepper spray while running.

And on Sunday I ran with my paper spray, smiling at people, half of whom were probably Democrats that might hate me for my beliefs, remembering what the priest had said. Pray for those who hurt you.

It was surreal. And then I heard the sound of gunfire. People were target shooting off in the distance. The sound carried, and everyone on the trail could hear the shots.

It went on for the remainder of my run. It was like a balm. I was comforted. Because again, everyone in the park could hear it. If any far Leftists like the ones described above were walking along wondering who voted for who in that park, they were surely put on notice.

We know many Democrats hate us.They tell us in many ways everyday, in social media comments, in acts of violence at riots, and in their obstruction and slander of Trump and every person he appoints to his cabinet.

And they know we know. But they also know that as a group we possess the great equalizer.

Again, it’s comforting to have the protection afforded by the 2nd Amendment.

The Democrats who teach their children to hate us would do well to teach them about our right to bear arms while they instruct them on shunning, bullying and hating other children. It might be helpful to the children at some point down the road.

  • The Trump Phenomenon ~ My Take

Update: there was some confusion earlier on my account of my husband’s abuse at work. I’m updating that segment to help folks who need clarification.

Many people have written about Donald Trump in recent days, and I’ve read some very interesting opinions as to why he seems to have become a sort of savior/instrument of revenge for many Americans.

A complete list of Trump’s endorsements can be found here.

As you can see, many people do feel Trump can lead America. Some of them are people I respect and agree with on different issues, so I refuse to diss any one of them. (Even the people whom I used to admire but now believe to be putting personal vendettas & revenge against the GOP ahead of America’s well being).

I’m not a fan of Trump. I don’t support him. I don’t like the way he comports himself. I saw a video clip of Mr. Trump, mocking a disabled person, and that is something I can’t just get past.

But this post is not about me & my personal distaste for the man. It’s only my opinion as to why he’s “the only one” for his many supporters.

Please read this Facebook post, “An Epiphany about the appeal of Mr. Trump”, by Robert Bidinotto, author of Hunter. (And please, read Robert’s books if you’re a fan of Thrillers).

Millions of decent Americans, for decades — and most intensely during the past decade — have felt their self-esteem under daily, relentless assault. The attackers are the political, economic, educational, and cultural elites. Americans have heard their values and ideals demeaned, mocked, vilified. They have watched the institutions that are supposed to uphold, symbolize, and protect those values and ideals become subverted, perverted, and corrupted. They have watched helplessly as their own children succumb to the cultural rot. They have tried to protest and fight back — only to have their legal efforts stymied and repelled by morally bankrupt courts, their political efforts crushed by the entrenched political class and thuggish bureaucrats, and their reform efforts betrayed by self-proclaimed political champions, including a venal, self-aggrandizing Republican leadership.

Decent Americans realize that they have been played and betrayed by all the elites — treated as nothing but pawns to be manipulated, as serfs to be bossed, as sheep to be fleeced — all to keep those elites living in grandiosity and comfort, while they struggle and suffer. They realize that, while all of this is happening, they are being laughed at and treated with cold contempt by that same Ruling Class: insulted as ignorant rubes, demeaned as coarse brutes whose bellowing anger is unworthy of even a hearing.

Worst of all, they have been intimidated to silence about it. It is now being made ILLEGAL even to protest. Accurate language describing what is going on and labeling those doing it has been banned as “hate speech.” Mere accusations of “racism” and “bigotry” are sufficient to cause individuals to lose jobs. In the face of snarling thugs, decent people are being frightened into silence, knowing that the full force of the law — backed by all the cultural, media, and political elites — will take the side of the thugs.

Black Lives Matter can chant for the murder of cops…then be invited to the White House. Hollywood stars can advocate banning fossil fuels, and applaud when coal miners lose their jobs…while they are allowed to leave billowing carbon clouds behind their private jets and limos as they flit about to international “global warming” conferences or to embrace Venezuelan and Cuban dictators. College boys are accused of rape, then informed by feminist-coddling administrators that the mere accusations are sufficient to get them kicked out of school, without benefit of any trial or due process, wrecking their future reputations and careers. Christian bakers are forced by law to bake cakes for gay weddings, essentially becoming conscripts in the armies of their adversaries, in violation of the First and Thirteenth Amendments. Millions of consumers are promised they can keep their doctors and health insurance, and that their premiums will go down under “the Affordable Care Act”…then watch videos of the architects of that monstrous act chuckling to each other about how it was all a pack of lies to fool the ignorant masses. Risk-taking entrepreneurs who build the nation’s wealth are told by their president that, no, You Didn’t Build That — and that We’re Gonna Spread Your Wealth Around.

And on, and on, and on.

Now, don’t get bogged down in all these particulars. Look at the bigger picture, at what all of these things represent in common. Most especially, ask yourself how these slights and oppressions are EXPERIENCED by millions of Americans.

The answer is that they are all direct, crushing blows to their sense of personal self-esteem, worth, identity, and significance.

Such treatment makes mockery of the basic American creed: that all men are created equal and endowed with unalienable rights to individual life, liberty, and the pursuit of personal happiness. Americans no longer feel equal — not in rights, not in opportunities, not in RESPECT. They instead feel dehumanized, viewed and treated like second-class citizens — but too frightened of the consequences even to protest. Each day they feel they must bite their tongues while ubiquitous cultural Stalinists smugly, loudly, insolently insult and trash every value, belief, institution, and freedom they hold dear. Meanwhile, the Ruling Class Elites are enjoying their lives unmolested and indifferent, having completely insulated themselves from all the harm they are doing.

The above, IMO, is certainly one reason for Mr. Trump’s rise. While the GOP elites, with their ridiculous push for Jeb! (a candidate NOBODY with any modicum of common sense wanted or believed in) bear a good 20-30 percent of the blame, the Leftists who have demoralized decent Americans deserve the lion’s share.

I believe this because I have been living it. I don’t really like putting all of this out in public, though I’ve written about some of it previously, but now that we’re faced with this behemoth, strutting around, name calling and acting like the worlds biggest bullying ass, I guess it really doesn’t matter. I’ll just write what happened to my family. Each incident I write will be termed a “gut punch” or a “backstab” depending on severity.

#1 (Gut punch)  On election day, 2008, I was termed a “racist” by a coworker. We were discussing election returns. She was an Obama voter. I voted for Bush. She explained to me that “anyone who doesn’t vote for Obama is a racist.” I made some protest, saying I didn’t agree with Obama’s policies, but it cut no ice with a fanatical true believer like my coworker.

#2 (backstab) After Obama’s January inauguration, a news story broke about a woman whose face was ripped off by a chimpanzee. My husband and a coworker were in an office, and the story was splashed across the computer. They were horrified, and began discussing it. My husband, as he left office, joked “Lots of crazy things have happened since Obama was elected.” (Paraphrase).

(Note: My husband’s offhand remark about our President, whom certain people seem to view as a king, was made later in the conversation. Approximately 10 minutes elapsed between the conversation re the chimpanzee and his lighthearted joke about Obama. Again: The accuser was in her own office, 3 doors down & across the hall. She couldn’t possibly have heard the conversation in context, and anyone who supports her and her false accusation is simply a fool, & in no way worth anything but scorn and derision).

That was it; that was the comment. Imagine his surprise when he was called into his supervisor’s office and told he was guilty of a racial slur. Seems a black woman who worked down the hall had been in her own office and heard a few words of the conversation up the hall. The words were monkey, chimpanzee, and Obama. Therefore, my husband was judged guilty without recourse.

The woman he had actually been conversing with went to the supervisors on his behalf, and explained exactly what had happened, however, there was nothing to be done at that point. Their immediate supervisor had already called corporate. He did it on the word of the black lady, because he is also a liberal Democrat.

My husband, who is the kindest and most decent man I know, now had this in his file. He spoke back, and said he was getting a lawyer, but was told: “If you call a lawyer, or say one word, you will be fired.” He’d been at the job for 20 years, and it was our livelihood, so he kept his mouth shut.

This emboldened the harasser, of course. She became almost intolerable to everyone in the office, yet nothing was done. Finally, after a year, she left the workplace. I feel very sorry for the people she works with now; I’m sure some other family is suffering misery at her hands. And yes… I’ll say it. She’s a progressive. A Democrat. A lying, cheating lowlife Liberal piece of shit. (I think I’ve forgiven her, however, I have to tell the truth. This is what she was, and most likely still is). The supervisor who called corporate without getting both sides of the story has also left the workplace. Thank you, dear Lord.

#3) (Multiple gut punches, back stabs, and undue stress) My dear friend was publicly shamed and held up as a Nazi at a school board meeting because she went against the school on common core, and then tried to have a pornographic and immoral book placed under age restriction with parental notification. Yes, that’s right. She asked that parents be notified, and that teens be spoken to by counselor before digging into this book. For that she was judged to be a Nazi.

This filtered into our parish church. 3 board members (Catholics) attend church with us, and all three lied about my friend and incited school kids and parents against her. They went along with this lovely woman, one of my dearest friends, being being publicly shamed. All of this occurred over a piece of trash book very heavy on pro-abortion ideology and no better than an average beach read. The Catechism of the Catholic Church, of which they profess to be members, strictly forbids abortion. But these board members felt so strongly about pushing Leftist ideology in the school that they trashed my friend. To read the full story, click here.

#4 (assorted gut punches) Click here to read about a parish prolife group I was a part of, and how fellow parishioners treated us. (Pro-choice Catholics, of course.)

#5 (Gut punch on massive amounts of steroids) Last summer at the height of the Confederate flag controversy, my husband, because he does not agree with the purging of history, be it favorable to America or unfavorable, bought 3 Confederate flags. We never felt the desire or inclination to own a Confederate flag before, however, we bought the flags on principle. We have the right to own whatever freaking flag we want to own. Yes, that’s right. We can do this — we’re free individuals in good standing in our community, and the flags were not illegal, so we bought some.

Included in the shipment was a 3X4″ bumper sticker, which my husband placed on his car, to show his support for free expression. (Again, free speech. Whether you agree with it or not, we have the right). Imagine his surprise when he came out of the bank one afternoon and was verbally attacked by a crazy left wing loon. The crazy man said: “Take that off your bumper. You can’t drive around with that. Take it off.”

My husband told him to f*ck off. Then it escalated. The crazy man began screaming “racist! racist!” and my husband continued to cuss him. Finally the man told my husband to get in the car, drive into Wilmington, Delaware (a place where gangs & drugs are rampant) and sacrifice himself. Just go down there so they can “f*ck you up.” As if, because of a difference over a flag, my husband’s life was worth nothing at all. In this Liberal man’s eyes, because he didn’t agree with him, my husband deserved to be put in the hospital, or even to be killed.

Before it could come to blows, my husband got in the car and left. He wanted to deck the crazy man, however, he was on blood thinners at the time, and if his head had been knocked he might have suffered a brain bleed.

The above five incidents are not the only incidents that have happened in our family/friends circle. They are just the worst. So, think about it. How many other families throughout America have been subjected to such things? We all know about the bakers who were sued out of everything they owned by Leftist brownshirts over their refusal to bake a cake. That was a national story. But how many more are there? People like me?

Millions, I’m sure. Some of them may have been ruined. Certainly some may have become ill with anxiety or stress. Who knows how much suffering people have endured at the hands of Obamabots, Hillarybots and other Leftists?

What if your child were addicted to Heroin, and you are watching them waste away right in front of you? Heroin is one of the stories that doesn’t get a lot of press, however, it’s a scourge. Pure and simple.

Young people are dying every day from Heroin addiction.Their families are in a shambles, their parents are helpless and perhaps ruined financially. The border is wide open, and Obama and his followers want it to stay open. And the GOP hasn’t done anything about the border situation. It’s status quo. I can’t help but feel some sympathy toward these suffering people, and others who are enduring similar heartbreak.

Many Americans feel they are almost slaves, existing only to struggle and work and keep their heads down.  They don’t matter to Washington, they don’t matter to the media, and they don’t matter to some of their Progressive neighbors. I can’t really blame them for grasping at a strong man.

This is what always happens when people are dehumanized. They clutch onto a strongman type. Trump is their savior, or their voice, or their payback. Take your pick.

I mentioned the media just now, because I’m saving them for last. The media, those who carry Obama’s & Hillary’s water, are the absolute dregs. They are a giant festering boil on the ass of humanity, with their lies and spin and loaded questions.

Look at the following story from the Charlotte Observer. Video: Bill Clinton spars with Benghazi protesters at SC rally.

Note the derogatory tone of the story and it’s insinuation that the protestor might not really be a Marine.

Now, look at this Biz Pac Review story on the same incident. Shocking video: US Marine booed, removed from Clinton rally for asking legitimate question.

Watch the video & decide for yourself, but what I saw were frustrated Americans who want accountability for what happened in Benghazi, trying to make themselves heard. And I’ll give the devil his due: Bill Clinton at least attempted to answer the protesters. They, however, seemed so very angry (and rightly so) at the cover-up and lack of justice that they didn’t stop shouting.

And the Clinton supporters sitting in the audience? True to form, they began telling the Marine and a woman with him to sit down and shut up. That’s the progressive way. If someone doesn’t agree with you, you shut them up. This is what’s been happening, over and over and over, for the past 8-10 years. The people in that audience… I have no words for them. One of them told the woman who was protesting she had been watching too many movies.

So, please, Liberals, if you’re clutching your pearls while contemplating a President Trump, understand something. YOU helped cause his ascent. If you yourself have acted in a manner similar to what I described above, you have brought Trump on us. You. Or, if you simply looked the other way while your neighbors or other decent hardworking Americans were trashed and decimated by bullying Leftists, as per my linked story regarding my friend who was shamed as a Nazi (by people who knew she she was the furthest thing from it) YOU bear some responsibility, whether you acknowledge it or not.

I’ve seen an article floating around on Facebook lately. Apparently a town in Canada will  welcome anyone who wants to leave America in the event Trump is elected to live in their town, where healthcare is free, no guns are allowed and you can get an abortion any time you want. So, Leftist Trump haters, if you’re reading this and are contemplating a move to Canada, I have word of advice for you. You better pack your bags.

If Trump somehow wins the Republican nomination, he will be your next president. He will beat Hillary into the ground and drag her through the mud like a Chairman Mao blow-up doll, no matter how many dead people come out of the grave next November.

Have no doubts. Trump will win, and you can blame yourselves. The lies, hate, arrogance and brownshirt tactics of the Left are more scary to Americans than Donald Trump.

  • #ShoutYourAbortion. (And Make sure your Kids never read Dr.Seuss)

    Shout Your Abortion on Twitter.

A recent hash tag on twitter encouraged women to be proud of the fact that they had had abortions, and to share their pride with the public.

    Following is an example.

Click here for the Twitter feed of an OB/GYN who’s been tweeting on this tag, praising women who’ve had abortions.  Read more tweets here.

There is zero common ground to be found between people who respect human life and people who don’t.

The hashtag above, plus the Democrats who just blocked a bill that would prohibit abortions after 20 weeks, (when infants can feel pain, and in some cases survive outside the womb) is the last bit of proof needed for me. You can make up your own mind on whether or not they share any value for human life. My mind is made up.

Nor are the Republicans, aka the ball-less wonders, any different. They write legislation which Americans welcome, but turn tail and run from a fight which would illustrate why such legislation never passes. They are just as bad as the Democrats, because they refuse to stand up for innocent babies by defunding Planned Parenthood, since they’re afraid of bad press in the event that Obama and the Democrats shut down the Government.

Um- shut it down. Please. We will live another day if there’s a shutdown. Show the Democrats for what they are and stop acting like a bunch of wusses. If there’s a shutdown it will be the fault of Obama and the Democrats, not the Republicans. Explain this to Americans and stop whining. (If Republicans decide to actually pass a budget which defunds Planned Parenthood, I will retract my statement that they lack balls. If they allow the Democrats to get a budget which still includes funding for Planned Parenthood because they’re afraid of the almighty Shutdown, then they are spineless, ball-less, and worthless).

GOP ~ Grow a pair. Quit worrying about appearances and start doing your job. Obama is nothing more than a huge boil on the butt of humanity. Get out in the road and play chicken with him. Show yourselves to be honorable men and women for a change. Stand up. Freaking do something.

Please read this opinion piece by Matt Walsh, which appeared in The Blaze. I tend to agree, except for the fact that I include the Republicans, too.  Again, people can make up their own minds about this issue. If everything is reduced to a small matter of what’s morally relevant, then maybe you agree with the Abortion Shouters. Your choice, of course. Everyone has free will.

IMO, if our elected “representatives” don’t take a stand, America is done for. That’s my opinion and I’m entitled to it. I’m not going to preach about morality here. Either you believe in respecting yourself or you don’t. This includes both men and women.

If respect is relevant, and you think respecting yourself means doing it whenever and damn the consequences, because abortion is an option you’re proud of, so be it.

I’m just going to share a few words from John Adams, one of the founders of the Nation and the 2nd President of the United States, taken from his autobiography and dated June 2. Tuesday. 1778.

From all that I had read of History and Government, of human Life and manners, I had drawn this Conclusion, that the manners of Women were the most infallible Barometer, to ascertain the degree of Morality and Virtue in a Nation. All that I have since read and all the observations I have made in different Nations, have confirmed me in this opinion. The Manners of Women, are the surest Criterion by which to determine whether a Republican Government is practicable, in a Nation or not. The Jews, the Greeks, the Romans, the Swiss, the Dutch, all lost their public Spirit, their Republican Principles and habits, and their Republican Forms of Government, when they lost the Modesty and Domestic Virtues of their Women.
What havock said I to myself, would these manners make in America? Our Governors, our judges, our Senators, or Representatives and even our Ministers would be appointed by Harlots for Money, and their judgments, Decrees and decisions be sold to repay themselves, or perhaps to procure  [illegible  the smiles and Embraces of profligate Females.

The foundations of national Morality must be laid in private Families. In vain are Schools, Accademies and universities instituted, if loose Principles and licentious habits are impressed upon Children in their earliest years. The Mothers are the earliest and most important Instructors of youth…. The Vices and Examples of the Parents cannot be concealed from the Children. How is it possible that Children can have any just Sense of the sacred Obligations of Morality or Religion if, from their earliest Infancy, they learn that their Mothers live in

habitual Infidelity to their fathers, and their fathers in as constant Infidelity to their Mothers. Besides the Catholic Doctrine is, that the Contract of marriage is not only a civil and moral Engagement, but a Sacrament, one of the most solemn Vows andOaths of Religious devotion. Can they then believe Religion and Morality too any thing more than a Veil, a Cloak, an hypocritical Pretext, for political purposes of decency and Conveniency?

There you are. Take Adams’ words to heart and realize what’s happening in America, or blow this post off as the rantings of a foolish and backward woman, someone on the fringe. It’s your choice.

Perhaps the American Experiment will fizzle away into a once proud Nation that ended up as slaves to themselves and their wants and feelings, their overreaching and tyrannical government, and, perhaps invaders.  Or perhaps that Tree of Liberty might need some refreshment. Everyone should know where they stand, because it’s getting down to the wire.

  • Election Day, Seinfeld Style

The following map shows the results of Tuesday’s election. Red areas indicate Republican Party wins. Blue areas show Democrat Party wins. More detailed maps can be found here.

Again, Red = Republican. Blue = Democrat. To me, it appears that the majority of Americans chose to vote Republican. My husband and others who’ve looked at this map agree with me. It seems to indicate that more people voted for Republicans than Democrats.

That’s why I was surprised to hear Chris Wallace state his opinion that “Republicans don’t have a mandate…” and “Americans don’t like Republicans…” on Fox and Friends this morning. Mr Wallace (and other talking heads) seem to be living in Bizarro world.

If Americans don’t like Republicans why did so many Americans vote for Republicans? Could Americans have voted for Republicans because they like Democrats? If so, why?

It’s not as if Democrats didn’t do their best to convince Americans to vote Democrat. Just today I heard stories from two different people about the lengths to which certain Democrats went in their zeal to convince Americans to vote Democrat.

Incident one: A good friend who is also a member of our local Republican Committee related the following incident. My friend and her Democrat counterpart were greeting voters at the polling place. You know, “Hi, are you a Republican or a Democrat? If you’re a Democrat please talk to her.” Or “Hi, are you a Republican or a Democrat? Oh, you’re Republican? Well, here’s a sample ballot, etc.”

Usually, after being given the information they’ve requested, voters go on to get their ballots and then cast their votes. But on Tuesday that’s not what happened. On Tuesday, my friend directed the Democrats she spoke to toward her Democrat Party counterpart, where presumably they got information if they wanted it and then went on to vote. However, the Republicans, after speaking to my friend, were stopped on their way to collect ballots by the pushy Democrat Party representative.

This woman spoke to each Republican on this or her way to collect a ballot. She waved sample Democrat ballots in their faces and asked them to take the samples, “just in case you change your mind.” Um, hello?

Voters usually arrive at the polling place knowing which way they will vote. The chances of them changing their minds between the door and the voting booth are slim to none. After this happened five or six times my friend asked the Democrat representative to stop accosting Republicans on their way to collect ballots. The Democrat told her she didn’t have to stop. Then she continued to shove sample ballots at Republicans. When one brave soul told this pushy piece of work that his mind was made up and he wasn’t going to change it, the Democrat told the voter: “Well, that’s scary.”

Excuse me? I don’t remember such a thing ever happening before. It seems unethical. I wouldn’t appreciate it if some woman got in my face and tried to convince me to change my vote. When I hear of the brazen tactics of Democrats I always think of the crazy characters on Seinfeld.

In my mind, I see the pushy Democrat my friend described as a female version of the most annoying character in Seinfeld history, Kenny Banya. It’s pretty sad when Democrats can’t stop themselves from acting like caricatures when representing their party in the polling place.

Incident two: My niece attends Shippensburg University here in Pennsylvania. Tuesday was her first time voting. She was excited to exercise her right to vote, and arrived at the polling place ready to vote for her chosen candidates. That’s when she was stopped by a man who tried to push her into voting for Tom Wolf, the Democrat candidate for Governor, who, unfortunately, won the race.

When offered information on Wolf, my niece replied politely, “No thank you,” and continued toward the polling place. The older man called after her, “Are you a student at Shipp?”

My niece answered yes without stopping. As she walked on, the man muttered something unintelligible in a derogatory tone of voice. She went on to vote for the first time feeling bad for some reason. She shouldn’t have felt bad. The Democrat who tried to push her into voting for a candidate whom she’d already decided against should have felt bad. He should also have been ashamed, but some Democrats these days seem to have no shame, and no manners either.

Democrats seem to have turned into pod people inhabiting a bizarro parallel universe. That may be the reason many of them insist that Americans don’t like Republicans, even when proof of the opposite (see above map) is right in front of them.

We the people have spoken. A majority have rejected the policies and tactics of the Democrats. They need to face facts. This isn’t a sit-com.
